We made a deal with him...no more real tools in exchange for some cool new toy tools. Needless to say, they're a hit with everyone!

Our first movie experience as an entire family was an absolute success! I have taken the kids to the movies several times by myself, but this is the first time Tim has ventured out with us. We went to see UP. It was pretty good, and the kids loved the glasses and were GLUED to the screen, and their seats! The funny thing was, we were the ONLY ones in the theater!

Caroline and I headed out on the town for a much needed girls night out. She and I very rarely get alone time, and we decided we were overdue for some fun time together. I adore this little girlie!!Here we are ready to head out to go see Hannah Montana at the movies. I giggle when I look at this picture because I think we do NOT look like mother/daughter. Lately more and more people have told me that she looks just like me, but I just don't see it. I guess I need to pull out pictures from when I was her age to compare!
Absolutely mesmerized by the HM movie! She didn't eat any of her popcorn because she was too busy watching!
Next stop: to paint some pottery, of course! This was right up her alley. She is so artsy, and we painted forever! That silly purse she is painting in this picture got painted over SEVERAL times. It ended up being blue with polka dots and fireworks.
Then we topped off our evening with a little ice cream. The perfect ending to a perfect night with my little sis. We're definitely gonna need to do this more often!

Wow, these past few weeks have been a whirlwind at the Thomas house. We have been super busy just playing and enjoying our summer. It has been so much fun to stay home and hang with the kiddos over the past month. School is quickly approaching though, and I can't believe my baby girl is starting Kindergarten. How is that possible?!? Anyway, here's a look at some things we've been up to around here...(brace yourself, this is a long post!)
Bunk Beds!!! The boys got bunk beds. Jack is still not quite so sure about sleeping in them, but he has a grand time playing on them. They double as a pirate ship during non sleeping hours. Too fun. They take turns sleeping on the top (even Caroline), which is apparently a big deal!

I know I haven't posted in FOREVER....just yesterday Tim asked me if I was "done" with blogging. Absolutely not!!! We have just been so busy playing and enjoying the summer that it has kinda taken the back burner. I have a bunch of pictures saved that I plan on posting in the near future of some of the fun things we've been up to.
Until then, here are some pictures of the kids enjoying their new sandbox. Tim filled up the bottom part of their swing set with sand, and they LOVE it. He also hung their new helicopter swing we picked up from a yard sale about a month ago.
